Openings:

Two backup/fill in driver positions open.

Positions start in May. These are One to Three day a week fill in positions. Applicants must be avalible for promotion to Part Time / Full Time status later in the year.

Applicants with the best availability will be given first consideration.

The best candidates should be available to work both day and night shifts on a rotating schedule.

Requirements:

You MUST BE / HAVE:

23 years old +

State of MAINE drivers license,

You must have had your license for at least 3 years with no

suspensions / interruptions.

Pass a 20 year background check

Pass a 10 year MVR CHECK (clean license)

Obtain a Taxi License with Rockland and Camden /After hired.

(We Provide and assist with the filing of your Licensing paperwork)

We value a good personality and professionalism over

experience, but general knowledge of the area is a big plus!

To become a taxi driver is an involved process. It can take a short period of time. After you submit an application,

Description

Taxi drivers do more than just drive! Drivers are responsible for safely picking up and delivering passengers. Drivers carry and deliver packages, must be able to load and unload bags, luggage, and groceries for customers. Drivers also provide limited assistance to passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when necessary. Knowledge of the local area such as street names is a must for taxi drivers, however you can learn as you go! Our drivers work on a rotating schedule, a typical shift is 8 - 12 hours.

You must include all traffic accidents and if they were at fault or not at fault and include dates.
